Welcome an amazing New Year with prayer
CHURCHES ARE BEING ENCOURAGED to do something special by way of prayer to welcome in 2012. And to do so under the theme 'Shine for the New Year'.
The call is the first step in saturating in prayer all that will be done through outreach, hospitality and service during 2012. This includes responses to the Games and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and Euro 2012 football.
During the week of Saturday 31 December to Sunday 8 January, churches are encouraged do whatever will be appropriate for them. This could be during the Sunday services, a watch night service, home groups or a special event.
